We had the best Thanksgiving. I didn't feel sick at all. Everyone got there and we just started eating and didn't stop. John made his famous mushroom crustades, a fabulous hit. We ate the Publix thanksgiving dinner, which wasn't bad at all. We enjoyed Kip's marinated pork roast and gravy, and we enjoyed Baron's pies and Booze. It was just a great evening. We watched the Bucs game and laughed alot. I ended the party early cause I got somewhat tired at around 9, so everyone packed up and moved on. I think that the Kragers were going to Doug Waechter's house. Josh and Dina were done in as they had spent the day at their aunts also so they were ready to go. Kip was also ready as she had come early to help. So, I was glad as I was all done in. As a matter of fact, I went to bed leaving John to finish cleaning up and as my head hit the bed, that was it. I slept until 5:30, which is unheard of. I just was pooped.
I am feeling good now, but am on my way to chemo, while everyone else is shopping. I will save my money. So, thank you for your prayers for me to feel well on turkey day. Also, we got a visit from the sisters, then the Traviesa girls came by....I can just hear Zeke's comments now, then a wonderful call from Michael Foley and Suzette. They were celebrating with Corey and Shannon and we got to talk to each other. I love those girls. I told them I am there second mother as I was there to raise them when they were young. They were just so sweet. Also those gorgeous Traviesa girls always knock me for a loop. They come out with the sweetest things. Taylor said she has always had an addiction to pretty bracelets because her fourth grade teacher wore them and she loved to hear them ring when I wrote on the board. Then Cayla tells me she is doing an art class at college and is painting a likeness of me called Mrs. Sheridan. She is sending it to me via e-mail. So, I am thankful for such special people and thoughts. How lucky I am. Well, I have to go. Love me.
So glad to read you had a good Thanksgiving, Barb!
