It's vacation time again! Two whole weeks that I'm sure will fly by but that's okay...I know not many professions allow you this much time off at Christmas, even if it is unpaid...I'll take it.
I got a bad sinus headache at school and left a bit early to come lie down as I wanted to head up to the union building to meet with some friends. When I got home, my cleaning lady was here and then Woody dropped off Rock as he was going to be out all evening, so I had to take all 3 dogs into the bedroom to keep them out of Jane's way while she cleaned. I laid down and had a nap too and when I woke up, I still have the headache, so will run by the union building on Monday instead. The memorial service for Jade is not until January 3rd as the family are having private services and a cremation. I'll be at a crop but I'll just leave early for it.
Well, clean toliet was too much for Rock to avoid so in he went... obviously Woody allows him to do this in Arizona! My dogs were looking at him like he was nuts!
So the long awaited weekend is here and I'm so glad. I have shopping still to do of course and need to do some major organizing of scrap stuff which is all over the place. I still haven't put away all my goodies from Barb! She gave me SO MUCH STUFF!! I couldn't believe she gave me the new Bind-it-all!! I'm so happy plus the cool tool kit for it...then she gave me supplies for my Slice, Basic Grey Eva Collection, a huge bottle of Grey Goose Vodka! And my favorite Jordan Almonds...the most darling bag which I'll use on the cruise plus the big EK Success pink leather bag jammed with goodies...more and more! Jill also gave me a darling bag her friend made which I'll use on the cruise too as it's a little black one. I have 4 or 5 unopened packages I saved for Christmas Day too! Needless to say, I had my Christmas that night! Barb- YOU ROCK!!
I had Diana's name this year and I got her some neat things too. My favorite thing was a metal dress form that is about 2 feet tall. She makes all these cool metal necklaces and bracelets and pins and I thought they would look cool hanging on it and so did she. She seemed very happy with the stuff she got too. Everyone was thrilled with their things. We changed one thing for next year- in the gifts, at least one has to be hand made by the person. Then we secretly drew names for next year and I'm very happy with my next person! I love this whole thing and it's a year long process which makes it even more fun. Can't wait for next year already!!
Okay, I'm outta here for now...
