My crop challenge today...

I challenged the girls to make a Spring card where there were two or more handmade flowers on it.  I had this wonderful Hot off the press flower template and I made the 3 flowers on my card.  

Here's a close up of the flowers...  Can't wait to see what the girls come up with!

Woody went to Sam's Club this morning which is always dangerous as you never know what he'll come home with..once it was a 50lb jar of pickles...anyway, today, he comes home with not one, but TWO of these ....  I am so addicted to these things...he said, 'Well I thought you could take one to work!"..yeah, and I'd have them gone in one day too....so yummy and yes, the peanut butter in them is fine!

Don't you love the rose in my new header?  I took it yesterday from a rose at school that was so beautiful.  I used my macro setting.  Love it.

Yayyyyyyyyy, Saturday...

I woke up with a headache and leg cramps but who cares, it's Saturday!  The headache is gone already and I took my potassium pill so I'm good to go.  Today is an all day KNK online "stay in your pj's " crop and I'm on at 11 so can't wait.  I made the cutest card last night for my challenge and I'll show it to you later today.

I had a nice Friday eve, just watching TV and scrapping and went to bed late, thus getting up late.  Woody gets up very early so he lets the dogs out but I woke up to Max laying 100 kisses on my face this morning.  He didn't know why I was still in bed!
I got the cutest pic of him and Mudgy last night sleeping.  I was sitting on the couch scrapping on Linda's table and I turned around and there they both were, next to mom, sleeping.  Check out little Max's eye as he woke up and knew what I was doing, lol!

Okay, I'm off to drink my coffee and wake up and get ready for this fine day!

OMG, the luncheon today surpassed everything we wanted it to be!  We had so much good food, it was wonderful.  Everyone really went all out and it was fabulous.  I ate wayyyyyy too much and am still stuffed.  My pork was a hit and I even had a little to bring home for Woody to eat tonight.  I took a ton of pics for you to see. Here's our little P, Angela, all decked out and looking darling of course. They had decorated the tables in the African flag colors.  You can click on all the pics to make them bigger.

And this was just SOME of the food!!  There were 3 huge pots of greens, all made differently, and some ribs that went so quickly I didn't get a picture of them.  As you can see, we ate very well at school today!

And now it's the wonderful weekend!  I'm heading to Target in a bit and then home to work on my KNK project for tomorrow's fun online crop.  Come join us and wear your pj's!! 

My cleaning lady didn't come today- sick again, and Woody said he spent about an hour 1/2 cleaning for me.  He even washed my sheets and made the bed!  He also vacummed the whole house so that was very sweet of him.

Okay, I need to get going- Love, Love the weekend!

Yawn...

I did not want to wake up this morning and get out of my warm bed but here I am...and it's Friday thank goodness.  All I can smell right now is the onions in my crock pot for the lunch I'm making today...hope it's good.

I saw this picture on the cute overload site last night and it really made me laugh out loud so I'll share it with you...so cute...check out the back legs on the pup!

Blonde again!

I haven't had a hairdresser use a cap on me in years but Tim did and he did a nice job plus I was out of there in an hour 1/2 as opposed to about 3 hours when I have foil wraps.  I had Woody take a shot of me standing outside so you can see my streaks... It's nice to have that done as I was really hating the all brown look.

I then headed to Publix to pick up my stuff for the luncheon tomorrow.  Why I picked smothered pork chops is beyond me as it cost $16 just for the meat.  I better get some tomorrow before our "men's club" gets to it, lol!  I'll put them in the crock pot right before I go to bed and let them cook all night so they should be yummy.

Well guess what happened today?  I called Barbara and she told me, "I feel good today"!!!  She said I know you haven't heard that in a long while and I sure haven't but am so HAPPY for her and John.  I saw John at Publix and he was smiling too so a big biscuit day for the Sheridans and long overdue.

Tonight I'm going to watch TV and scrap and relax and look forward to tomorrow being Friday.  Hope you had a good one!

Thursday...

I went over to see Barb yesterday and what a nice surprise- she came out to the family room for our visit instead of being in bed!  She was looking good and feeling better overall though her back is still killing her of course.  Quite a few things got changed around and she's on the right track I think now.  It was a great visit!

Rest of evening I actually worked on two layouts!  Yes, I said layouts which for me, is unusual as I'm using doing projects or mini albums.  I got this new PDQ paper from Gerri Anne to play with and I'm having fun with it.

This Saturday, KNK has a "stay in your pj's all day and crop" party and I'll be "on" at 11 am.  We're going to have fun making a Spring card with a stipulation which I'll announce on Saturday.  Should be fun so come join us!

I think Woody is giving all the dogs bath today so that should be good! 
Tonight I'm off to get my hair streaked and need to make my dinner for tomorrow's Soul Food luncheon we're having at school.

Hump eve.....

Another beautiful evening...sitting by the window again with another nice breeze.  I sure love this weather!

I ended up going into work at half day today and had to straighten out some grade mess and then work on another teacher laptop that picked up an annoying worm/spyware..what a pain in the ass to get rid of it.

I talked to Barb's husband on the way home and she had a good day.  Went to her cancer Dr. and he's taking over again and they're getting rid of that terrible GP she had thank goodness.  Josh went to the appointment and took good notes too which is great.  I'm going to run over there in a minute just to check in with her.

Tomorrow after work I'm headed to get this hair done-yayyyyyyyyyyyy!!  I'm starting to get excited about the cruise now that it's coming up so soon.  I still need to pick up a couple of things for it first.

Teri had this picture of Debby and I over at Jules' house Saturday night and I like it so I'll put it up... what a shiny chin I have, lol or double chin I should say!

Hump Day...

Woke up a little early today so must have had enough sleep.  Glad it's Hump Day as half the week is over.  Didn't get a hold lot accomplished last night but watching TV.
The site where I got all my shots is sore this morning so hope that goes away.

Not a whole lot happening today except classes with the 5th grade again.  We had another great night with the windows open though.  I need to check how the weather will be down in Mexico, not that it matters, lol!  Cruise time is coming!

Frustration...

with our medical care system as basically, it sucks I think.  Too many damn specialists and no one really knows what's going on or will take responsibility for it....I was over at Barb's after school trying to get some med issues straightened out but it is frustrating.  The poor patient gets the raw end of it of course.  We have to bring in- LawyerMan- Josh, her son, to get the Dr's to do what they should do in the first place.  What about people who don't have LawyerMan- what happens to them?

School was pretty busy today.  The County Inventory man was there and I was trying to teach classes and check grades and do lunch duty and yada, yada...at least the day went quickly.  I have March, April, May and then a week in June and I'm DONE!

I'm off to Walgreen's now to try and get my favorite Frosted Shredded Wheat as it is on sale there..I missed it last month as I got there too late..I better not be this time!

Made a hair appointment for Thursday to get my frocks frosted..they desperately need it..so glad to get in this week.  A week from Saturday I'll be sailing the blue seas!!!

Tuesday....

Got up with no problem this morning since I went to bed at 8pm last night!  I was tired from having the shot and sedation I guess as I slept right through the night.  My back is a little sore this morning from it all but hopefully, it will go away.  Thank goodness, we didn't have the long wait we had last week and now I'm done with the series just in time for the cruise!

It's still on the cool side at night which is so nice to sleep. But the temps are going back up during the day which makes for nice days too.

Tonight is the Mardi Gras parade and party up in Dunedin and Woody wants to go to it.  I'll see how I feel when I get off work.
