Yesterday, we had a YaYa day and the girls came over for a fun afternoon of talking, eating, laughing and hanging out in the pool. It had been awhile since all of us had gotten together so everyone was excited. Polly Vi was there, my sis, Barb even made it along with Caroline, Kim, and Andrea. We missed Lorrie and Amy though! Everyone brought such yummies to eat too so we all chowed down. There was no rain either so that was good and the pool water was actually a bit coolish for this time of year which made it refreshing!
I was really excited because the girls loved my painting I just did and actually recognized it as the Snell Isle bridge!! Caroline and I are going to get together soon for a craft night too as she's always making something cute.
I took some pictures but then realized my card wasn't in it so el dumbo has nothing to show you from yesterday.
I'm also getting excited about my upcoming cruise in a month, on the world's second largest ship, the Oasis! I think I told you it carried 5,400 people!! I took some pic's of it off the web to show you...
It has in the middle, Central Park with all kinds of plants in it. They have lots of balcony cabins that look out into this park and a couple of the women have these rooms so we can go in them to watch parades, etc.! Pat and my cabin is a balcony outside which I always love. Arlyne has us all signed up for a bunch of shows- Hairspray, Come Fly with Me, Frozen in Time (on ice skating rink), and a stand up comedy show.
I only signed up for one tour in Falmouth, Jamaica that goes to the sugar cane fields, mansions, etc. as I've never been to that part of Jamaica. I love cruising and now that I'm a platinum member, I get a few perks which is nice too, like robes in the cabin, early signups and priority boarding. This might be my 7 or 8th RC cruise. My roomie used to be a travel agent and she's been on over 30 cruises! So it should be fun as long as no hurricane shows up! And I leave on my birthday as I've told you before which is neat.
