Yes, it's true, Max was in Rosie's favorite hole last night wearing his thundershirt during a storm. Rosie was in her kennel at the time for a "time out", lol. I do believe the shirt works and Max likes wearing it!
So, Kim Kardashian if FINALLY married. So glad that is over as I was tired of reading it everywhere. I will say that I'm dying to see the Vera Wang dress though and the Hansen cake. My online friend, Suzi Finer, helped decorate the cake and actually had the responsibility of driving the cake to the wedding venue!!! Can you imagine how nervous she was!! She did say she drove slowly, lol.
We've got a tropical storm/potential hurricane coming....I'm hoping it veers off into the Atlantic as it will mess up one of my favorite weekends- Hilltop's Fried Green Tomato Crop down in Sebring! We'll all be watching the weather closely this week. I'm also going on a cruise the weekend after next so we'll be dodging storms then too probably! You can always count on a storm around my birthday, Sept. 3rd. Happens every year!
Barb, Annie and I went to see The Help the other day and it was wonderful. For the first time ever, the theater was filled up for an afternoon show. And people applauded at the end. I just finished reading the book last week and highly recommend it. I had it on my color Nook and sure am loving that thing.
I read where some of my friends who live up north or out west in Utah, are feeling the effects of Fall already. I can't imagine that happening so soon. I'd love for a bit cooler weather but definitely not cold weather. Last year, for Fall, I was up in Michigan with Wendy and had a ball so I got my fix.
Okay, off I go to read the big Sunday paper and cut out coupons that I always forget to use!! Have a good one.
