I know, I know, too long between bloggings. It's harder to do nowadays since the birth of Facebook. In fact, several of my friends who were bloggers don't even do it anymore since they have FB. I miss their blogs too!
Anyway, what's going on here.....well let's just say we could have used Noah and his ark the past two days. I'm not complaining though cuz we needed the rain but it's hell for some dogs named ROSIE who won't go outside when it's WET! Anyway, I've stayed close to home and haven't ventured out much except to my fave Fresh Market for some delicious pecan crusted trout yesterday.

My wonderful pool/YaYa girls, when they gave me that retirement party a ways back, gave me a $200 GC to MM!!! I used it for the first time this week and had some things delivered today that look yummy. Caroline's mom had found this woman first that owns the place and raved about it. She'll even come into your kitchen and show you how to make the meals if you want or you can just order online and she'll deliver. This is what I got today:
You can freeze it too if you want which I'll have to do as I'm leaving on Friday so won't have time to eat it all (since I went to Fresh Market yesterday too). I think I'll have the chicken breast tonight though and the greens which sounds great. All very healthy kinds of food as you can see. I love places like this!
I have a ton of $ left on my GC for later too!
The other exciting thing I did today was make my plane reservations for Texas in November!! I'll be going to a 4 day crop at this cool place. Tisha, who I met in June when I was in Texas for the other crop, invited me to this crop that she heads up. Plus she's such a doll and wants me to come in a day ahead and stay with her and she'll get me from the airport and then drive me to Mineola for the crop. I'll then come back with her and stay again and fly out on Monday from Dallas. PLUS, my friend Kath Freeman and her SIL are driving down from Arkansas to attend it too. The place looks so cool! I had a $100 voucher from SouthWest so used it for my flight too which helped a lot. Looking forward to going to this!
Next year, 2012, I am going to slow down my traveling quite a bit as I need to be a little more conservative with my money, lol. Sure have had fun for these past 2 years though going here and there. I'll still travel but not as much.
I actually filled out the application for substitute teaching and sent it in. I only plan on doing it like 3x a month and only for certain teachers and schools so it should be fun plus I'll get more money to travel with too! I go to a lot of crops all over the place and I'm sure that will continue too.
